Frequently Asked Questions

When are dues due?
Annual membership dues are due on January 1st of each year. New members joining mid-year are prorated for the remaining months.
What happens if I don't renew?
Members who do not renew within 90 days of the due date will have their membership lapsed. A grace period reminder is sent at 30 and 60 days. Reinstatement is available by simply paying the current year's dues.
Is my PayPal payment secure?
Yes. PayPal uses bank-level encryption and does not share your financial information with ICMS. You can pay using a credit card, debit card, or your PayPal balance.
Can I get a receipt for my records?
Yes. PayPal automatically sends a receipt to your email. For wire/check payments, email [email protected] and we will send an official receipt.
Are dues tax deductible?
ICMS membership dues may be tax deductible as a professional expense in many countries. Please consult your tax advisor for guidance specific to your jurisdiction.
What if my membership category has changed?
If your career stage or qualifications have changed, contact [email protected] before paying to ensure you're paying at the correct rate for your new category.
